Applicants are asked to complete the digital form below. Please note that your application may not be processed if you do not have qualifying 501 (c) 3 paperwork. Organizations MUST provide the qualifying 501 (c) 3 designation paperwork to be considered for funding. If you have questions about these criteria, please contact us. Community foundations or community qualifying 501 (c) 3 organizations can apply on behalf of other organizations. Only PUBLIC charities are eligible for funding.

Please be as specific as possible, and you may upload attachments when necessary due to space limitations or if you have specific documents that assist your application. Please remember that you must upload IRS documentation and financial summaries. There is a section that will allow you to do so. The more specific you can be with your ask, the better. If an application request includes building projects, please include two or more bids and an outline of the project timeline.

When applications are processed, you will receive a letter via USPS or email as a receipt of your application. You will receive communication throughout the process. As a reminder, applications are accepted year-round with four deadlines. The committee meets quarterly (four times per year). If your application misses a deadline, it will be held until the next committee meeting.

If you have questions throughout the process, please call our office at 800-794-1989 or email us with ORU Application Question in the subject line. You can email files separately if you have any issues with uploading files.

Is your organization a 501 (c) 3 or municipality?
If your organization is not a qualifying 501 (c) 3 or municipality, your application will not be processed.
To qualify for Operation Round-Up, organizations must be a qualifying public charity 501 (c) 3 or a municipality. If you are not a qualifying organization, options may still be available to assist your organization.

A qualifying 501 (c) 3 can apply on behalf of a non-qualifying organization.

Please contact us via email to learn more about these options.
A copy of your organization's notice from the IRS ruling or determination under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code is required if you are a designated charitable organization. A designation of a municipality is also accepted in some cases.
