A Day Well Spent Together

On behalf of FreeState, I want to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone who joined us for this year’s Family FunDay at Gary’s Farm Fest in Grantville.

It was a joy to see so many of you, along with your families, come together for a day of fun, laughter and community. Events like these remind us that while FreeState is an electric cooperative, at our core we are about people — our members and the families who support them.

The purpose of the Family FunDay is simple. It is a way for us to hit pause from the day-to-day stresses of everyday life and enjoy quality time with the people who matter most. Seeing so many kids play, parents relax, and neighbors connect made the day truly special. In this issue we’ve got some of our favorite moments in photos for you to see.

We are especially grateful to Gary’s for their partnership in making the event such a success. The staff at the farm helped us provide a memorable experience for all who attended, and those pumpkin doughnuts were a delicious way for us to kick off the fall season!

As a cooperative, membership means more than just reliable electricity when you need it.

It means being a part of something that values connection, community and shared success. Family FunDay is just one way to celebrate the cooperative advantage, because when we all come together, we celebrate what makes being a member unique.

Thank you to everyone who came out to enjoy the day. It was wonderful to see so many smiles and powering up so many family memories.
